• This retreat is for men who are pastors or ministry leaders, especially those who lead churches in Europe. 

Description

• You're invited to join us in Tenerife, Spain for a five day soul care retreat for pastors and ministry leaders. Thanks to the generosity of donors to the Pastors Collective we are able to offer this retreat free of charge! All you need to do is get yourself there. 
• The reality is that leading churches and ministries is challenging work. Oftentimes leaders are so busy taking care of others that they forget to take care of themselves too. This retreat is an opportunity to rest, build friendships with other leaders like you, and to be refreshed and refueled. There's no big agenda, no sessions, no speakers. Just an intentional conversation every evening over dinner to help each of be well so we can build well.
• Pastors Collective was founded by Greg Surratt (also the Founder of ARC and Seacoast Church) and their vision is to serve 10,000 pastors in the next 5 years. The goal is to help you "live well & finish strong". 
• Tenerife is one of Europe's most popular getaways, known for it's beaches, it's food, and vibrant culture. As the largest of the Canary Islands, it's located off the coast of West Africa. 
• We'll be staying at a boutique hotel owned by some believers who gave us a deeply discounted stay. The Jardin de la Paz has stunning ocean views, a pool and gardens to relax in, and will be our home base from which to explore the island. With rental cars we'll access beaches, eat out for most meals besides breakfast, and see a few of the sights. But since our biggest goal is rest & relationships, we'll keep the schedule light. Each apartment at the hotel can accommodate two guests. 

Registration

• Your registration is free thanks to the generosity of the Pastors Collective. It includes meals, accommodation, ground transport, and some activities. 
• Excludes air travel to and from Tenerife, personal shopping, and tips to hotel staff.

Travel

• Everyone should plan to arrive in Tenerife, Spain (south airport for international arrivals) on Monday Aug 19th around lunch time. From there we will travel by rental car around an hour to the hotel.

• Departure should be booked around lunch or later on Friday Aug 23rd.

• If anyones flights would have them using Tenerife's north airport, please communicate with us before booking since that will require an additional rental car with costs. 

• Book flights early. The closer you get to the date, the more expensive the flights are.

Things To Note

• This trip is in Tenerife, Spain and you will be required to have the correct traveler ID to enter Spain. US travelers please be aware that it takes up to 3 months to get a passport. European travelers, you should be familiar with the border requirements. 
• On this retreat, some guests may enjoy adult beverages or cigars while others don’t. Also, being a beach resort and alongside many other guests, we should expect to see a wide variety of beach attire. 
• We will not be the only guests at the hotel.
