Description
-
We're heading to the low country! The Retreat at Church Creek is set on 66 acres on the water near Charleston, with a 14-acre freshwater bass lake, saltwater fishing on the intercoastal waterway (including a chance at the famous local redfish), two miles of peaceful trails, skeet shooting, hot tub, and fire pits to enjoy under trees draped in spanish moss. There's something about this place that is healing to the soul; there's a peace about it you just have to experience. It's only 30 minutes from the airport and historic downtown Charleston with its restaurants and charm, but you'll feel like you've gotten away from it all. There's also a workout room, a golf simulator, disc golf, a pool table, pickle ball, poker and a hot tub. Some of South Carolina's best anglers are going to help put you on some great fishing whether it's out on the marsh or on the pond, just a stroll from the lodge.

Things To Note
-
No experience is necessary for any of the activities and all equipment is provided.
-
At Church Creek, some guys like to enjoy cigars or adult beverages and some guys don't. You do you. But please be aware some guys will, so if that's not comfortable for you to be around, we have other retreats that will be a better fit.
Registration
- Your registration is covered by the generosity of our partners and includes your meals, accommodation, ground transport, and activities. Excludes air travel, and a fishing license.
- Important Note - The Retreat at Church Creek team works really hard to make this an epic experience. They actually raise finances to help keep this affordable and that helps pastors like you finish your race in ministry. So please honor that investment by not taking your commitment to be there lightly. We all have busy lives and ministry challenges that come up, so short of an absolute emergency let’s make sure our yes is yes.
Travel
- You'll be flying into Charleston, South Carolina (CHS). We'll send further instructions on how to book your flights after you register, but you'll be aiming to arrive by around 2pm on Thursday, and preferably departing after 1pm on Sunday.
- We'd love to host you at Seacoast Church for a service Sunday morning so mid to late afternoon departures are best if you'd like to join us.
- Please note that if you choose to come in the day before retreat, arrive very early morning or depart late evening, that you'll need to use a taxi service since we have a limited number of volunteers available for transport.
- You're welcome to stay an extra night on the front or back of the trip and we can suggest some local hotels.
