• This retreat is for Business and Ministry Leaders and their spouses. We serve pastors, NGO & ministry leaders, kingdom-minded business leaders, as well as missionaries and chaplains.

Description

• You’re invited to join us on our first couple's retreat in Mexico’s only all-inclusive 5 diamond resort. You will be surrounded by the beauty of Cancun’s clear blue waters and enjoy the white glove hospitality of the Mexican people. This resort has a lot to offer all couples. Some amenities include 3 pools, a hot tub, 6 restaurants, well designed gym, live music, unlimited gourmet drinks and food, blue beach water, excursions you can add to your experience. This resort is nestled in the hotel area of Cancun. This area has Cancun's most beautiful beach stretch. The resort is also close to the shopping district as well as many restaurants. The hotels concierge will help you book any activity you may want to do with your spouse or with a group. Be prepared to relax with your spouse by the sea and the pool in the midst of Kingdom Minded leaders.
• If you have been to any of our Barnabas trips in the past several years, you will notice this trip to be very different. And that difference is intentional. Though you will be surrounded by several kingdom-minded leaders, this trip is intentionally design to allow you to spend quality time with your spouse. There is is no agenda, no evening table talks, no get togethers, just you and your wife. We will have a welcome greeting on the arrival day in the evening so that we can meet the other couples from Barnabas but aside from that, its up to you wether you want to be alone with your spouse or build relationships with other couples.
• We are hoping this trip will refresh, restore and re-ignite your relationship with your spouse and build community with other leaders.
• Optional add ons - For an additional cost, there are many activities and tours you can do of Mexico’s Yucatán peninsula. Some include fishing, snorkeling, visiting Inca’s ruins, senotes, cave diving, deep sea fishing, boat charters, ATV’s, ziplines, golf plus much more. You can do these as couples or with a group. Also, you can upgrade your rooms if you rather have an ocean view rather than lagoon view. You are also welcome to extend your stay past July 12th if you want additional R&R for an additional cost, however, we do ask you do not arrive earlier than the 8th.

Registration

• Your registration cost is $3600 and includes unlimited gourmet meals & drinks, your accommodation (Lagoon View room), transportation to and from the resort and airport.
• Excludes air travel. Optional activities and tours are available but not included in the standard pricing (ask Jose, Jessica or hotel concierge for details). Pricing here is based on a Lagoon View room but upgrade options such as Ocean View rooms are available at an additional cost.
• You'll email to let us know you're registering and to save you a spot, but payment will be done with the resort directly. We will provide resort contact. The resort has several payment options and room types.

Scholarships

• If for any reason finance is a challenge for you being part of the trip this year, please just click the Apply Now button near the bottom of the page in the scholarship section. A very limited number of partial scholarships are available to assist with your registration cost.

Travel

• Flights from your home should be booked to Cancun, Mexico on whatever airline you choose.

• Everyone should shoot to arrive in Cancun on Monday 7/8 by 4:00pm (If you are traveling from the west coast or a different country, you might arrive later and that is ok…as long as you can get there).

• Departure from Cancun should be booked for Friday 7/12. The best times are late morning through early evening.

• Book flights early. The closer you get to the date, the more expensive the flights are.

Things To Note

• This trip is in Cancun, Mexico and you will be required to have a passport to enter Mexico. If you do not have one, please be aware that it takes up to 3 months to get one.
• On this resort, some couples may enjoy adult beverages while others don’t. Also, being a beach resort and alongside many other guests, we should expect to see a wide variety of beach wear. You do you. 
• We are a small group therefore the resort will have other travelers.
